The elves are ready to welcome all children with special creative workshops designed to let them experience the magic of Christmas in a fun and engaging way.

Piazza Garibaldi lights up with excitement for the arrival of Santa Claus.
A festive parade will come to life through the Village streets, where elves and fairy-tale characters will accompany visitors with smiles, dances and short performance moments.
Amid sparkling lights, magical atmospheres and Christmas melodies, the Village will officially welcome Christmas, turning Piazza Garibaldi into a dream-like place.

The celebratory parade will pass through all the Village areas, accompanied by elves and fairy-tale characters who will animate the shows scheduled for the entire period.

The workshop curated by Palestina – Cultura e Arti di Bari invites girls and boys aged 7 and up to discover Tattriz, the ancient art of Palestinian embroidery.
An activity of symbolic sewing and embroidery, dedicated to traditional motifs and patterns that tell stories, identity and culture through threads and colours. A creative moment that combines craft, memory and sharing.

Aerial artist and dancer Valentina Chicco offers a unique moment of elegance and acrobatics.
Suspended over 7 meters high, she performs exciting aerial evolutions, surrounded by evocative music and atmospheres that capture and enchant the audience.

Santa in the Ward

Santa Claus and his staff will visit the Giovanni XXIII Children's Hospital in Bari to bring gifts, games and smiles to the children, who will also be able to write letters, creating a symbolic bridge with the Christmas Village.
A meaningful human gesture that brings fantasy, hope and warmth to those who need it most.

🇦🇱 Albania – “Dance and Traditional Costumes”

Dances, melodies and good-luck rituals accompanied by unique traditional folk songs create an atmosphere of warmth and brotherhood that engages and entertains both adults and children. The group is part of the Italian-Albanian association ANIA and has already taken part in important local events.

🇷🇺 Russia – “Santa from the East”

An activity immersed in Russian traditions, featuring Eastern Santa Claus, his granddaughter, and a dedicated photo area. Children will be able to do creative crafts, learn simple Russian words, and take part in a musical game together with the characters. The program also includes a puppet show and storytelling led by Rozkina Aleksandra from the Italian-Russian association Raduga, which has been promoting Russian culture for many years.

The Ganapathi Mariammen Covil Association of Bari brings to the Village a fascinating moment inspired by Mauritian traditions: fire lighting, ritual lamps, sacred statues, traditional songs, and dances. The experience is completed with small Christmas and good-luck charms, linked to symbols of auspicious fortune for the new year.

A musical workshop led by Spiff Onyuku, a certified Drum Circle facilitator, who turns rhythm into a true collective language.
Inspired by Arthur Hull’s Village Music Circles method, the activity engages both adults and children in an experience of energy,
unity and expression. For the Christmas season, the drum circle is enriched with rhythms and songs from Nigerian tradition,
creating a festive and inclusive moment where percussion becomes a symbol of joy and sharing. Perfect for experiencing Christmas
through the power of music.

🇺🇦 Ukraine – Music Show

The association *Uniti per l’Ucraina*, an APS and third-sector organization that is part of the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy, presents a moment dedicated to the Christmas symbols of its culture. The programme includes theatrical performances featuring biblical and folkloric characters, along with traditional dances and festive songs that express the hope, faith, and strength of Ukrainian traditions.

The arrival of the Befana, on the day dedicated to her, becomes the heart of a truly special afternoon.
On the main stage, together with the Head Elf and the Postman Elves, the Befana will greet all the children with games, laughter and moments of pure fun.

An afternoon in the company of the Befana!
On her special day, the Befana will make her entrance on the main stage, welcomed by the Head Elf and the Postman Elves.
Together they will bring to life a moment full of smiles, little gags, games and lots of fun for all the children.
In order to guarantee full accessibility, some shows will be translated into Italian Sign Language (LIS).

Fixed Appointments
Recurring activities and workshops that bring the Christmas Village to life every day in Piazza Umberto I and Piazza Garibaldi, designed for children and families. Creative and sustainable workshops for children aged 4 to 12, guided by the Elves Postmen using eco-friendly materials.
Dances of the World
Daily intercultural animation activity: children and families are guided through simple dances to Christmas music.
Festival of Wishes
Daily animation activity with shared readings and reflections dedicated to children, with the participation of the Head of the Elves.
“Hands of Peace”
Decorating hearts, stars and doves to hang on the Tree of Wishes.
“Letters for Santa Claus”
Writing letters to Santa Claus together with the Elves, turning every wish into a spell of joy.
“Decorations from Around the World”
Decorations inspired by different and evocative international Christmas traditions.
“Leaves of Hope”
Creating leaves and petals with positive words to be placed on the Tree of Peace.
“The Tree of Wishes”
Writing a wish for peace to hang on a large collective tree.
